The Michael and Kitty Dukakis Center for Public and Humanitarian Service

The Dukakis Center was launched in September 1999 as the Michael S. Dukakis Chair in Public Policy and Service. Today, it operates at Anatolia American University as a private, independent, and non-partisan academic center for research, dialogue, and civic engagement.

Its mission is to connect academic insight with public dialogue and to inspire people, particularly younger generations, to make a meaningful contribution to society. Through lectures, roundtable discussions, applied public policy inquiry, and experiential learning opportunities, the Center promotes informed public dialogue and active civic engagement.

The Center may also offer internship opportunities to qualified students from all academic programs.
